These terms make up a condition of booking a course with us. You must agree to these terms in order for your course application to be accepted. In the event of a dispute, these terms will be binding.
The cost of the courses as detailed above all includes VAT at the applicable rate.
Your place on the course will not be confirmed until cleared funds and a completed registration form have been received; once this has been done we will send a confirmation email and at this point your place on the course will be class as being confirmed.
Full payment (where a credit agreement has not been entered into) is required 3 working days prior to the start of the course; without full payment you will not be able to start the course. You may make as many payments as you wish between the time you pay your deposit and the time the final balance is due.
Alternatively you may wish to apply for finance, in such a case a deposit will still be required as detailed on the payment page. In such cases Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd will reserves the right to undertake credit checks through Experian (The Credit Reference Agency) and use sufficient information to assess your application. This may involve the use of public information that a credit reference agency may hold about you. The credit reference agency will add details of the search and your application to their record about you whether or not your application proceeds. This and other information about you may be used to make credit decisions about you and undertake checks for the prevention and detection of money laundering.
In the event that your application for finance is not approved you will have 7 Days from the time you are notified to decide whether to pay the balance in full by other means, or to receive a refund in full of your deposit. Once the period of 7 days has elapsed Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd will assume you wish to continue enrolment and your deposit will become subject to our normal cancellation policy.
In the event that one of our trainers is travelling to your salon or studio and travelling costs are being charged, these will be due at the time the deposit is paid. No travel arrangements will be booked or confirmed until the credit check has been processed. If after the credit check has been processed you change the date of the training or cancel (in line with our cancellation policy) then you will only receive the proportion of the travel costs that we are able to recover; in the event that we are unable to recover any costs then no refund will be provided.
If your finance application is approved and deposit paid you will need to have completed a Direct Debit Mandate to allow us to collect monthly payments
Once we have processed your booking we will issue a booking confirmation to the email address provided or a letter to the address on the enrolment form.
Payment can be made by Credit/Debit Card, PayPal or Cheque (made Payable to Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd). In the event that you pay by cheque your place on the course will not be confirmed until the cheque has cleared. You are also able to pay by BACS – please contact us if you wish to pay by this method.
Course attendance is the responsibility of the student; getting to and from Eternal Beauty's training centre (where applicable) is the responsibility of the student and no responsibility will be accepted by Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd for getting you to or from our training centre.
Eternal Beauty will provide a start-up kit on the first day of the course which will be yours to keep, we will provide disposable items for the kit during your course. The contents of the kit can be supplied on request. Please note that from time to time we will alter the contents of the kit due to circumstances beyond our control such as the discontinuing or replacement of certain products.
Eternal Beauty will make every endeavour to meet any special requests that have been notified in advance on the booking form.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the duration of the course, a lunch break will be provided on each day, but Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd will not assume responsibility for the purchase of lunch. As we are based in the town centre there are several options available to you, and you are welcome to bring your lunch back to the training centre.
Pre-Course Home Study
In the event that your course requires our pre-course Home study to be completed, a user name and password will be issued to you in your confirmation email along with the link to the relevant pages.
This home study is a mixture of reading, short 'quizzes' along with drawing practice.
The drawing practice requires you to print and complete activities and tasks and then upload them to our portal, ideally at least 5 days prior to the start of your course. In the event that we have not received the drawing practice and tasks at least 3 days prior to the start of your course, we will (and we cannot stress this enough) postpone the dates of your training to a future date agreeable to both parties.
Unfortunately, this is non negotiable and the reasons behind this decision, is to ensure that you are able to get the best from your time with us. It also allows our instructor to see which areas require the most focus when you come to us to train.
In the event that your course is postponed due to non completion of the pre-course home study and where travel and subsistence charges have been applied, we will endeavour to change these bookings to the newly agreed course dates. Please note that where these are not able to be amended or refunded, an additional charge will be due to book new arrangements for the newly agreed dates.
In line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations (formerly the Distance Selling Regulations) you will have period of 14 Days following the payment of your deposit (which forms the start of the contract between us) to cancel your booking and receive a full refund of the deposit amount. If we have already provided you any course material, pre course home study links, kit, or anything else that constitutes 'training material' then this will constitute the start of your training and No Refund will be due on cancellation.
Following the cancellation period we will be happy to move your course to another date that is suitable but will be unable to provide a refund of the deposit paid.
Please note that where travel and subsistence charges have been applied, where non-refundable travel arrangements have been made such as flights or train tickets this cost will not be refunded as they do not make up part of the course deposit.
All notice of your wish to cancel must be received in writing to [email protected] No other forms of cancellation will be accpeted.
If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked and have not given prior notice to Eternal Beauty then no refund will be made and no transfer will be allowed.
While Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd offers training and certification on an ABT Direct accredited course we are unable to offer advice or guidance on the practice of SPMU in your area. It is your responsibility to contact your local environmental health officer or licencing department for local policies and procedures and to ensure that this course is suitable to obtain a licence from your local authority.
Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd reserves the right to cancel courses for circumstances outside of our control. In the event of this students will be notified with as much notice as possible and either offered a) a place on a future course, or b) a full refund of any course fees paid. Likewise Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd reserves the right to relocate a course to a different venue should circumstances beyond our control dictate. Notice will be given to students as soon as is practical.
If a student fails to achieve the required standard on a training course we will do everything in our power to find another model for them to work on to help during the normal duration of their course to help them pass however this is not always possible; in the event it is not possible to get more models on the days that they are being trained we can offer the student extra days to stay and train at a cost of £300 per day to help them pass (subject to a trainer being available).
Depending on the reason for the instructor not being able to pass you, they may allow you to carry out a designated number of case studies where you will need to carry out procedures on your own midels, at your own cost and with your own insurance. You will then be required to send send photographs and/or videos as directed to your instructor for evaluation.
If neither of these options are avialble we will have no choice but to withhold their certificate. The student will need to return to Eternal Beauty at one of its monthly 'open days' with their own model to complete a procedure in front of an instructor. The cost of attendance will be £300. A certificate will not be issued until one of these options has been completed.
Photographs will be taken during the course which Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd reserves the right to use for advertising and social media purposes. If you do not wish for your photographs to be used in this manner please email us at [email protected] prior to your course training date to advise us.
All information that we hold concerning you will be held and processed by Eternal Beauty strictly in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 2018 (ICO Registration Number ZA049777)
Such data will be used by the organisation to administer our relationship with you as a customer. We will not, without your consent, supply your name and addresses to any [other] third parties except where (1) such transfer is a necessary part of the activities that we undertake, or (2) we are required to do so by operation of law.
As an individual, you have a right under the The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 2018 to obtain information from us, including a description of the data that we hold on you. CREDIT AGREEMENT FOR FINANCE
Please read, as these terms will form part of the contract between us in the event that you apply for, or are accepted for a finance application with Eternal Beauty for the remaining balance of your training course.
It is a condition of this agreement that repayments be made by Direct Debit from an eligible bank. You undertake to maintain sufficient funds in the Bank/Building Society account nominated to meet all amounts due.
Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd reserves the right to undertake credit checks and use sufficient information to assess your application. This may involve the use of public information that a credit reference agency may hold about you. The credit reference agency will add details of the search and your application to their record about you whether or not your application proceeds. This and other information about you may be used to make credit decisions about you and undertake checks for the prevention and detection of money laundering.
The total amount of credit, total charge for credit, total amount payable and amount of each instalment will be emailed to you at the email address specified on your enrolment form and/or sent in your confirmation letter
The first payment is due on the 28th day of the month following the completion of the training course. Subsequent instalments will be due on the 28th of each month following
If any instalment is not collected when it is due, Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd may apportion any outstanding amount over the remaining instalments or collect the full amount due under the next instalment date.
We will notify you in writing in advance of any change to your instalment amounts.
If Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd do not receive an instalment at the scheduled time, or the full amount payable under this agreement when requested, you will be liable to pay us for any reasonable costs, charges and expenses that we may incur or have to pay to a third party including legal costs that arise out of your breach.
Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd reserves the right to refuse credit. If Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd are not willing to make the agreement based on information received from a Credit Reference Agency, we will notify you of our decision and immediately also notify you of the particulars of the Credit Reference Agency, including their name, address and telephone number.
The credit agreement may be cancelled by either the Customer on one month's notice or Eternal Beauty (UK) Ltd on two months’ notice in writing.
A written notice of cancellation from the Customer is subject to the payment in full of the outstanding balance requested. If any outstanding balance is not paid in full then legal action may commence in order to recover any outstanding monies.
You are entitled to repay the amount due under this agreement earlier than the date on which repayment is due, either in full or partially. If you wish to make full or partial settlements in advance of the date that repayment is due, please contact us.
The laws of England and Wales are taken by us as the basis for the establishment of relations with you prior to the conclusion of the credit agreement. The credit agreement is established under the laws of England and Wales and is subject to English law.
